Safety guidelines and conduct rules for maritime experiences
Important Notice
Your safety and the safety of others is our top priority. Please read these rules carefully. Failure to comply may result in denial of boarding or removal from the vessel without refund.
1. Pre-Boarding Requirements
1.1 Documentation
- Bring valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID, or driver's license)
- Present your booking confirmation (printed or digital)
- Complete passenger manifest when required
1.2 Punctuality
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time
- Late arrivals may result in forfeiture of your reservation without refund
- Departures will not be delayed for late passengers
1.3 Health Conditions
- Disclose any relevant medical conditions to the crew
- Bring necessary medications in their original containers
- Pregnant passengers must consult their doctor before booking
- Passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied boarding
2. Safety Regulations
2.1 Life Jackets
- Life jackets must be worn when instructed by the crew
- Children under 12 must wear life jackets at all times while on board
- Do not remove or tamper with safety equipment
2.2 Follow Crew Instructions
- Always follow the captain's and crew's instructions
- Attend the safety briefing before departure
- In emergencies, remain calm and follow evacuation procedures
- The captain has final authority on all safety decisions
2.3 Movement on Board
- Hold handrails when moving around the vessel
- No running on deck
- Stay seated when the vessel is moving at high speed
- Do not lean over railings or stand on seats
- Restricted areas are off-limits to passengers
2.4 Swimming and Water Activities
- Only swim when authorized by the crew
- Never swim alone; use the buddy system
- Stay within designated swimming areas
- Do not dive from the boat without crew permission
- Children must be supervised at all times
3. Prohibited Items and Activities
3.1 Strictly Prohibited
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Weapons, firearms, or explosives
- Smoking in non-designated areas
- Open flames or fireworks
- Excessive alcohol consumption
- Harassment, violence, or threatening behavior
- Damage to vessel or property
3.2 Alcohol Policy
- Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted (if included in package)
- No outside alcohol unless specifically allowed
- Crew reserves the right to refuse service to intoxicated passengers
- Disorderly conduct will result in immediate removal
4. Environmental Protection
4.1 Marine Conservation
- Do not throw anything overboard
- Use designated trash receptacles
- Do not touch or disturb coral reefs
- Do not feed or harass marine wildlife
- Use reef-safe, biodegradable sunscreen only
4.2 Island Etiquette
- Stay on marked paths and trails
- Do not remove shells, sand, rocks, or plants
- Respect wildlife habitats (do not disturb nesting areas)
- Leave no trace - take all trash with you
- Respect local communities and private property
5. Photography and Drones
- Personal photography is welcome for non-commercial use
- Respect other passengers' privacy - ask before photographing them
- Drones are prohibited without prior written authorization
- Commercial filming requires advance permission
6. Personal Belongings
- Keep valuables secure at all times
- Do not leave belongings unattended
- Store bags in designated areas
- Neither Zarpar nor service providers are liable for lost or stolen items
- We recommend leaving valuables at your hotel
7. Children
- Children must be supervised by adults at all times
- Children under 12 must wear life jackets continuously
- Parents/guardians are responsible for children's behavior
- Some activities may have age or height restrictions
8. Weather and Sea Conditions
- Tours may be cancelled or rescheduled due to bad weather
- The captain may alter routes for safety reasons
- Inform crew immediately if you feel seasick
- Refunds or rescheduling available for weather cancellations
9. Medical Emergencies
- Report injuries or illnesses to crew immediately
- First aid kits are available on all vessels
- Emergency evacuation may incur additional costs
- We recommend travel insurance for all passengers
10. Consequences of Non-Compliance
Passengers who violate these rules may face:
- Verbal or written warnings
- Denial of boarding
- Removal from the vessel at the next safe port
- No refund for unused services
- Liability for any damages caused
- Legal action if laws are broken
